We promote development of inclusive value chains that integrate smallholder farmers with markets through productive partnerships with agribusiness enterprises. We assist value chain actors - input providers, farmers, processors, logistics operators, packhouses, traders and exporters - to increase their profits and value to consumers through innovative, competitive, and sustainable practices.
Food Safety & Food Security
We promote the development of food safety systems that ensure healthy and nutritious food to consumers. We assist farmers and agribusiness to meet the challenges of providing safe food to an increasingly urbanized and globally connected world. We address the complexity of food security issues arising from poverty, low technology, market disconnect, weak infrastructure, inappropriate policies, and vulnerability to climate change.
