Francesco has more than twenty years of experience in development of value chains and market institutions, policy formulation, and market infrastructure. His in-depth expertise in strategy formulation, policy, and investment programs has been recognized by a variety of institutional and private clients who have selected Dr. Goletti as Team Leader and Senior Advisor for assignments in a number of countries, including Bhutan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Cambodia, Mozambique, and Viet Nam.
Francesco has a proven record in team leadership and project management in about 20 countries where he assisted development agencies and private sector to achieve project objectives and value for money. Before founding ACI in 2001, he was a Senior Research Fellow and Program Leader of the Postharvest and Rural Industrialization Program at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). Francesco earned a PhD degree in Economics from New York University in 1991. He is a member of the International Agribusiness Management Association (IAMA), the International Agricultural Economics Association (IAEA), the Society for International Development (SID), and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Jean Claude has more than 25 years of experience working as a policy researcher and analyst with focus on agricultural productivity and value chain analysis. He has extensive knowledge of the challenge faced by farmers and other stakeholders in less developed countries, particularly in rice-based agricultural systems. Jean Claude is also highly proficient in data analysis and has extensive experience in setting up large data collection activities using IT tools, geographical information and cloud systems.
Before joining ACI as Program Leader in Value Chain and Agribusiness in July 2016, Jean Claude was the senior Economist and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at USAID/Madagascar. He holds a BSc. degree in Agricultural Engineering, a MSc. in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University, a MSc.in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University, and is a PhD Candidate in Policy Analysis and Management.
Ms. Vanny joined ACI in 2009 on Emergency Food Assistant Project in Cambodia funded by ADB. Along with her current role as Finance and Administration Director, she manages projects in Cambodia and several other countries. Vanny brings over 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, administration and project management. She holds a degree in finance and banking and master in general management in 2009. In addition she has been pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She enjoys working with people from different countries and backgrounds.
With a background in communication, IT, and English linguistics and literature, Vinh has been working both in the education and agricultural sectors. In the education sector he was responsible for admissions and curriculum development. In the agricultural sector, he has supported project management in communication and IT services. Since joining the consulting world, his focus has been on recruiting, client relationships, and marketing. Currently as a Business Development and Marketing Officer, Vinh is in charge of the consultant recruiting process, client liaisons, and ICT support to marketing activities.
Mr. Chuong has been working at the Representative Office of Agrifood Consulting International in Vietnam for more than 6 years. He has been involved in the administrative and IT support, CV database maintenance, business development, and accounting for the office. Since 2010, he has served as the support project manager and accountant for several ACI projects including Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety Project (LIFSAP) and Agriculture Competitiveness Project (ACP). In these projects, he had managed and supported the activities of the project staff. Chuong holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from University of Information Technology from Vietnam National University HCMC.
Sangita joined ACI in May of 2013. She is based in our Nepali office. She has served as Project Administrator for several projects including the Agricultural Development Strategy (ADS) project and the High Mountain Agribusiness Livelihood Improvement (HIMALI) project. She is responsible for assisting the implementation of the project through various project administration, finance, and administration services. She is also active in providing support to business development and marketing activities of ACI in Nepal. Sangita holds a degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University.
Pralhad Dulal is a Management and Accounting professional with more than 10 years’ experience in Management, Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining ACI in 2012, he had worked as an Office Manager of a Co-operative and Finance company in Nepal. He has extensive experience working with NGOs as Field Coordinator, Social Mobilizer and also experience managing small businesses.
As the Office Manager for ACI’s branch office in Nepal, Pralhad oversees the overall operations of ACI Nepal and the projects managed by ACI Nepal. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is working on a Master's Degree in Finance from Tribhuvan University Kathmandu, Nepal. Prahlad is passionate about agriculture, food and development.
Niraj Gautam has over 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting for a variety of industries in Nepal, including agribusiness and communications.
Prior to joinging ACI in 2012 he was working in the seed sector. He holds a degree in Accounting and Marketing from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. He is in charge of finance and accounting of the ACI-Nepal office.
