After the completion of the TOT, the CBDRM team selected the 8 most qualified candidates to be the Master Trainers for delivering training on CBDRM to community in 46 villages located in 5 communes, 2 districts of Pursat Province. The Master Trainers will start to provide training to communities from September 2016 and will be rolling out within 6-months period until March 2017.

Disasters are really hot issues in the world including Cambodia because of the low capacity of the population to cope with disasters. As part of the CBDRM project implemented in Pursat province with MOWRAM, the Project is building the capacity to local community to be able to manage disasters. This approach results in stronger community empowerment for building a sustainable disaster management at the community.
